PV Informer’s goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA (the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). That is a goal we are working toward. We do not claim that every page already meets it.
What we aim for
- Text that can be resized, and pages that still make sense when they are.
- Links, buttons, and forms that work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Labels on form fields, and error messages that are not conveyed by color alone.
- Navy text on a cream background, chosen so contrast stays readable.
- A skip-to-content link from the theme, so keyboard users can pass the header.
Known limits
Many dates link out to a city, a school, the library, or Los Angeles County. Those sites are outside our control. Some official PDFs and agenda systems are hard to use with a screen reader. If a Peninsula item on our site is missing a text alternative or traps the keyboard, that is ours to fix.
Tell us what blocked you
Use the report form. The page address is filled in from the page you were on; change it if the barrier was somewhere else. Describe what happened and what you were trying to do. Leave an email if you want a reply. We read these reports and work on barriers we can fix. If you need information from a page in another format, ask through the same form and we will try to provide it. We review this page as the site changes.
Privacy requests use the same form. See Privacy.
