Missed the deadline? You may still conditionally register and vote at a Vote Center through Election Day.
Vote by mail — ballots are arriving
LA County began mailing vote-by-mail ballots no later than October 5, 2026.

- Sign and date the official return envelope before returning.
Return deadlines (official):
- Drop off or in person: by 8:00 p.m. on November 3, 2026
- By mail: must be postmarked on or before November 3 and received within 7 days after Election Day

Drop boxes are available beginning 29 days before Election Day and close at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
Rancho Palos Verdes notes a City Hall drop box (near the flagpole) accessible beginning October 6 — confirm on the RPV election page.
Vote in person (Vote Centers)
Hours (LA County):
- October 24 – November 2: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Election Day, November 3: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
You may vote at any Vote Center in Los Angeles County.
