School Essentials is PV Informer's quick-reference desk for families on the Palos Verdes Peninsula: Rancho Palos Verdes, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates. It collects official links for the public school district (PVPUSD), each public campus and the Peninsula's private schools in one place. Every link goes to a school's or district's own site. When we couldn't verify something, we mark it TBD instead of guessing.

Weekly school digest
[PLACEHOLDER: A weekly roundup of verified items such as board meeting agendas and highlights, early-dismissal or minimum days, enrollment and application deadlines, and safety notices. Each item links to its source. Editors: pull from district news, Simbli agendas, school calendars and daily bulletins listed above.]
How we source updates
[PLACEHOLDER: Our sourcing standards. We go to official district and school sites first: pvpusd.net, campus *.pvpusd.net sites and private schools' own sites. We cite state and federal directories (CDE, NCES) for verifying addresses and grade levels. We don't publish ratings or rankings. Contact details come only from official listings. Every item carries a source link and an "as of" date. Corrections: TBD process/contact.]
School-by-school directory notes
[PLACEHOLDER: Short per-campus notes for later, such as bell schedules, PTA/booster links, newsletters, athletics calendars and parent portals. Each needs verifying on the official site before it's added. Candidates already spotted: PVHS Activities, A/B and Athletics calendars; Miraleste Intermediate Athletic Calendar; PVPHS Master Calendar; MELA/VELA monthly newsletters.]
